The trailer for NBA 2K22 The City was released by 2K Sports, and it showcased some of the new features in this year's installment. New City Quests will allow players to experiment with their careers outside of the court, from becoming a fashion mogul to becoming a rap icon; - An increased population will make The City feel more alive, with new NPCs to fully bring the world around you together; - The ability to upgrade your crib – such as to a penthouse with a zip line – will allow you to live in a more luxurious environment; - New City Quests will allow players to experiment with their careers outside

Discover new structures added to The City, such as a matchmaking structure and Club 2K, where players can listen to music from some of the hottest labels that are released with each Season; - Rewards include new modes of transportation, such as Go-Karts and Inline Skates, as well as new emotes, intros and outros, animations, customized name plates, and more.

Although the introduction of The City in NBA 2K21 was well-received, players will be able to enjoy a significantly improved version of it in NBA 2K22. The Visual Concepts Development Team created the entire NBA 2K22 The City to function and revolve around the MyCAREER story, which was developed by the Visual Concepts Development Team. You can even personalize your crib, as well as have an impact on the entire MyCity community. In addition to being intrinsically linked to MyCareer, you are free to bring your MyPlayer anywhere within the confines of The City's premises. If your MyPlayer is selected, he or she will have to go through the NBA Intrigue system, which puts you right in the middle of the action on the sidelines of the game. As part of this year's The Neighborhood, the player will embark on a cruise tour aboard the “Cancha del Mar.”From the lobby to the top deck, every level of the ship has been meticulously designed to provide the most enjoyable basketball experience possible. Seasons will also bring with them exciting excursions to tropical destinations. This ensures that each new Season will bring new content, unique events, and rewards to the table for the players to experience.
