England lost by four wickets at Antigua to India in final of World Under-19s Cup. This was despite James Rew's brilliant innings cricsguru.

Rew's 95, which was off 116 and included 12 fours from England, helped them recover from a poor start, in which Tom Prest lost Jacob Bethell and Tom Prest within four overs.

England dropped to 61 for 6 in the 17th. Rew put together a half-century partnership alongside James Sales, before falling five runs short on his century. Sales was caught on 34 and the pair were out for 199.

Raj Bawa had five wickets for 31, while Ravi Kumar was fourth with four.

England was playing in their first final at the level for 24 years. India replied with a win as Joshua Boyden dismissed Angkrish Rajuvanshi.

They left India at 97 to four after Sales struck twice. This included Shaik Rasheed's wicket, which was a half century. Bawa scored 35, putting India within striking range. Nishant Sharma finished the job with a unbeaten 50 to win India a record-extending fifth crown.
