Alyssa & Cameron's southern soiree is a classic affair for that age! Did we mention the bride-to-be is the sister in our Baton Rouge co-owner, Danielle?

How have you two met?

My sister, Danielle, along with a really good family friend of ours, Julie, had planned an organization date for all of us to meet simply because they thought Cameron and I will be a perfect match. Julie's husband is Cameron's boss. We all visited dinner together in New Orleans. As my sister mentioned in her rehearsal dinner speech, we acted as though we were the only real two at dinner. We hit it off immediately! He inquired about out the following weekend, and the remainder is history!

Details around the proposal!

It was beautiful, and I couldn't have imagined a far more perfect proposal for that two people! We attend mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Gonzales. I have always attended church there, in addition to attending primary and middle school there. On Saturday, January 24, 2015, we visited the 4:00 mass at St. Theresa like we always do. After mass, our priest, Father Eric, stopped me as I was leaving and said he'd to speak beside me about among the retreats I was organizing. After our conversation ended he explained Cameron was within the church. As I walked back into the church to consider Cameron he was standing around the altar. I walked as much as the altar and that he proposed within the exact spot where we'd exchange our vows on November 6th. I had no idea he'd do it by doing this, but I couldn't have imagined a better proposal. We were so blessed to possess both in our families there to share within the special moment.

Location, location, location! How have you chosen your venue? What type of venue had you been looking for?

We knew that people wanted to get married at St. Theresa of Avila Church, where Cameron had proposed. The church is really beautiful and thus important to each of us! We didn't want our guests to possess to travel not even close to the church towards the reception venue. We chose Elegant Affairs for the reception venue, which is very close to the church. The venue could hold our guest list, while still using a very intimate feeling. They took proper care of everything for all of us, making the whole process extremely stress-free.

Who designed your beautiful gown? Where have you got it?

My wedding dress was a gorgeous tulle and lace wedding dress. I loved it and felt such as the designer had designed it particularly beside me in mind. It was perfect!

Describe the marriage. The look, theme, style, colors, etc.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. It was simple, traditional, and stylish all simultaneously. I desired to keep everything very organic and earthy. My sister Danielle may be the co-owner of Bella Bridesmaids in Baton Rouge. She and Meghan were this type of big assist in presenting me with assorted options and ideas. They love wedding ceremony planning and consume a ton of wedding blogs and wedding trends. They would always arrive at me wonderful sorts of gorgeous pictures, that people made arrived at life!

Tell us about your bridesmaid's dresses!

I left this within the hands of professionals... my sister, Danielle, and her business partner, Meghan! We selected doing varied FeelTimes styles to support all of my bridesmaids' physical structures. feeltimes embodied everything I had envisioned for that look of my wedding. Their muted color palettes and soft romantic gowns managed to get a no-brainer for me! Danielle and Meghan were so useful when you are selecting the right mixture of neutral tones and bold colors to produce a beautiful color palette for my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids were stunning!

Any most important items, must-dos, or can't live without them? Anything you'd do differently?

I would say we all need a sister as great and helpful as mine! I am not sure what I might have done without her. I had no clue where to start! She kept me on the right track and was super organized through the entire process. I have to say, something (besides my groom), that I couldn't live without, would be a band! Selecting a band was among the first items around the checklist we completed. I have danced my well-being, but still, teach dancing, so naturally dancing inside my reception was top around the list. My bridesmaids and I even did a last-minute choreographed dance to Proud Mary in the reception. We wanted everyone to bop and have a good time, and also the band helped to get everyone around the dance floor. I honestly don't think I would change anything about our wedding. The rehearsal dinner, mass, and reception were perfect!

Favorite memory in the day!

I have a lot of favorite memories during the day, it's hard to pick. My favorite memory might have to be when my father met me outside to create me into the church. I was feeling just a little nervous at the time, but he helped calm me down, and try to make me laugh. The church doors opened, the background music began to play, and I walked down to satisfy the love of my entire life. I know it sounds cheesy, however, it truly felt just like a movie and I was living out my love story. I saw Cameron standing there looking very handsome in his is a black tux, white shirt, and bow tie. As my father gave me a way to Cameron within the same place he proposed in my experience it was probably the most spiritual, peaceful, and delightful moment I have ever experienced in my entire life.
