Whilst those activities can be mildly relaxing, they are time spending doing the same thing over and over - time that could actually be more beneficial playing through some shorter but no less traditional video games.

I'm unsure if the statue of RuneScape Gold The Old Nite still exists It stood close to the southern edge of the Wilderness (or "Wildy" as it's known for short) - a large expanse of sand and mud in the north, frequented in the past by beasts and player-killers. I've never been to visit it. Stupid me.

RuneScape's biggest flaw, which might also be its biggest advantage, is one used by nearly every other game: its longevity. In between all the thrilling adventures and intense PvP battles is the relentless grinding out of the mundane household tasks like fishing making, mining or cooking to get up or get the credits to buy that pesky new helmet or piece of armor. Gotta make money somehow, right?

In contrast to being one continuous combat, RuneScape is a painstaking conflict of attrition which is lengthy and exhausting and that never really ends. But it is very rewarding if you're willing to invest the time in it, which I was. At the very least, for a whole year or two.

I've never played any MMORPGs in the past, much to my everlasting loss and shame. My real-life worries are numerous and I do not have time to allow them to entice me. Of all the games, they're by far the most time-consuming, with endless levels to conquer and things to acquire.

Some have even died during or in the aftermath of hours-long binge sessions of RuneScape's younger but more popular sibling World of Buy RS Gold Warcraft, which is what makes it an extremely scary game.
