The most significant flaw in RuneScape's gameplay

RSorder Offers Cheap OSRS Gold(OSRS GP). RuneScape Products (Old School, RS3) for sale with more surprises.

The most impressive act of OSRS gold kindness has to be on the part of Jagex's developers Jagex when they dedicated an on-game sculpture (and, more recently pub) to honor the memory of the best player, known as 'The Old Nite', who sadly died in real life in the year 2006. The player was active since the beginning of RuneScape in 2001, and was often the 2nd-highest ranked player. He was just ahead of Zezima.

Because of the alleged activity that was reported on his profile in the year 2006 the myth was circulated that his existence was not over, however, this was also explained as hackers having access to his account, which was locked. Although neither can be proven the virtual version of a ghost story does reveal a cool aspect of MMORPGs and the fact that a plethora of legends can start up about the players who actually play the game.

I'm unsure if the statue to The Old Nite still exists however, it was at to the southern end of Wilderness (or "Wildy" for short) - a large expanse of barren land in the north, frequented primarily by beasts as well as player-killers. I've never made the trek to visit it. It's a shame.

The most significant flaw in RuneScape's gameplay, which might also be its biggest benefit, is one found in almost every other MMORPG: its sheer longevity. In between all the thrilling quests and high-octane battles is the relentless grinding off of daily tasks like cooking, fishing, or mining to increase your level or earn credits to purchase that new piece of armor. Gotta make money somehow, right?

Whilst those RuneScape gold activities can be slightly relaxing, they are time spent doing the same thing for a long time - a time that might or may be better spent with a few shorter, but not less classic video games.
