Jagex announces that it will begin sending "messages to players who we've identified as being involved on RWT" within "the coming hours". "For anyone who was involved, we'd like to make it clear that this is your one and only warning," they added.

It was also announced regarding the games PvP mode, Duel Arena, would see sweeping changes that included an increased enforcement of game's code for conduct in order to encourage more positive play. Jagex affirms that the mode "has been a trigger for this toxic behaviour".

However, prior to that, what the publisher calls "short-term measures" will be taken "until our development teams are able bring a major update to completely replaces Duel Arena next year."
