Winter Wonderland is the latest winter event in Aeternum to be released by New World PTR, and it is the first of its kind in the game.
The Winter Wanderer, a game developed by Amazon Games, showers players with gifts and treats as they travel through the snowy landscape. There are numerous quests to complete in order to progress, all of which are provided by a large fluffy Yeti. If you bring yeti tokens in order to make him happy, he will reward you for all of your efforts. The ability to earn skins, pets, and equipment without having to spend any New World Gold is available to players in the game.
Due to the fact that the event is still in the PTR, it is possible that some changes will be made to it before WOW classic gold is made available to the rest of the community. Players' reputation with the yeti will grow with each task and item they complete for the yeti in the game. As with the reputation system in regions, the higher a player's reputation is, the more valuable the items he or she can redeem from the shop. Ensuring that players complete the Winter Wanderer's task will, as a result, improve the overall quality of the redeemable items available for purchase in the game.
New World's current PTR servers have a number of notable new features, one of which has to do with the weather and is particularly noticeable. It's snowing outside right now! Upon entering Aeternum, players will immediately notice that the majority of the regions have been blanketed in white, freezing blankets, as if by a massive blizzard. The Northern Lights, which can be seen in the sky above players as well as beneath the thick blankets of snow, may also be visible in the distance.
To meet the Winter Wanderer, players from the Winter Villages will have to travel to the Winter Villages, which are scattered throughout Aeternum, in order to do so.
There are four villages in total, each of which is located in a different region of the nation. First and foremost, it will be located to the south of Monarch's Bluff, as previously mentioned. Following Everfall, the next village can be found to the southeast of the city, on the outskirts of the city. Third Village: Located to the north of Weaver's Fen, and fourth Village: Located to the northwest of Brightwood, this will be the final village built in the area. Fortunately, these winter villages are denoted by icons on the map, which means that players will not become disoriented while attempting to find their location. Due to the fact that all of the villages serve the same purposes, players are not required to visit each and every one of them individually. To participate in the festival, a player will only need to travel to the winter village that is most convenient for him or her in order to do so.
Gleamite chunks and misplaced gifts are two of the most common occurrences.
It is possible that players will come across new gathering nodes as they travel through the snow-covered world of Aeternum, which they have not previously encountered. A scattering of Lost Presents will be scattered throughout the regions, and they can be found on the sides of the roads. Upon return in good condition, these presents contain Recovered Presents, which can be redeemed at the Holiday Hut for Winter Tokens if they are returned in good condition. Meanwhile, as players travel through specific areas of the game world, they may come across Gleamite chunks that they can use to craft items. Depending on the availability of event tokens, these chunks can be mined and then exchanged for the tokens themselves. Remember that gleamites can only be found during the night, so keep an eye out for these eerie-looking chunks of rock during the evening hours.
The appearance of settlements is being improved.
Because of the Winter Convergence Festival, players will be able to decorate their favorite settlements in a more festive manner by pooling their resources. Player's can access the Town Mission boards, where they can complete daily tasks that are related to the winter festival, while the festival is in progress. Changing the appearance of their chosen settlements will occur as a group of players collectively completes an increasing number of quests. In addition, each settlement will have a Christmas tree in the center of the town square to celebrate the holiday season. To receive a surprise gift, players can loot the gift pile under the Christmas tree, which is available to them.
It has been discovered that there are new Ice Caves.
Something or someone is attempting to sabotage the Winter Convergence festivities, and it is unclear who or what is responsible. There have been reports of ice caves appearing in various locations around the world, spawning yeti opponents for the players to contend with. These Ice Caves can be found after players accept the Yeti Abound quests from the Wanderer, which will direct them to where they can be discovered. Successful completion of these quests will result in additional rewards and reputation points being awarded to the participants.
