Players will be able to design and upgrade equipment, engage with NPCs and complete various side quests that are influenced from the popular MMORPG. The board game will debut with a Kickstarter campaign later in the year, while the tabletop RPG book is expected to launch directly in stores.
The core book for tabletop RPGs is notably compatible with the massive tabletop RPG Dungeons and Dragons' fifth edition core books, which will allow dungeon masters to seamlessly integrate elements of RuneScape into their games.
Jagex Chief Executive Officer Phil Mansell was optimistic about the project , expressing his excitement about the Kickstarter project "involving communities from RuneScape communities," while Steamforged CCO Mat Hart believed the "rich RuneScape universe will translate beautifully" into Buy OSRS Account a tabletop world.
