Philadelphia has a new bench bo s.

The Flyers on Monday announced they havehired Alain Vigneault as the team's head coach.

"We are extremely excited to have Alain join this franchise and lead our team Ty Law Jerseys behind the bench for many years to come," Flyers president andgeneral manager Chuck Fletcher said in a statement.

"He brings a tremendous amount of succe s over an extended period of time that will prove valuable to our team to take the next steps in returning the winning culture to the Philadelphia Flyers organization."

Vigneault replacesScott Gordon, a former AHL Lehigh Valley Phantoms coach who had filled in on an interim basis for Shaun Wade Jerseys former head coachDaveHakstol after hewas fired in December.

He is also serving as head coach for Team Canada at the 2019 IIHF World Championships in Slovakia.
