Both games will debut in 2022 in the form of a board game, with the game going live in Kickstarter as well as the TTRPG going straight to retail. The games will be based on adventures, characters and locations from across RuneScape's rich 21-year long history, with the board game being played by 5 and 1 player on quest-based adventures through Gielinor.
They'll make and improve their equipment, upgrade their characters, cook special recipes, engage with NPCs and test their talents while traveling through different parts around the world. They will also encounter a variety of enticing side quests to distract and keep them entertained on the route.
The TTRPG is an exquisitely illustrated, hardback book with rules for players to play a RuneScape tabletop game of roleplaying, where they are able to create themselves characters and explore Gielinor and develop unique and thrilling adventures. The TTRPG books's core is completely compatible with rules of fifth edition of the tabletop tabletop roleplaying game with RS 2007 Items.
