Learn how to unlock the faction reputation cap in New World using our short guide.

In New World, Faction reputation is one of the most important things you should be earning because it can unlock powerful gear that you can use for your character. So there is plenty of incentive to rank up. You may be wondering how ranks work and what is the current upper limit in New World.

There are four tiers for each of the factions. Completing an Advancement quest unlocks the next tier of a reputation for the faction. The first advancement quest is around level 25, with the next stages at levels 35, 45 and 60. When you get to the final level of the reputation, you will eventually hit a New World faction reputation cap, which ends your progression with your factions. Here is how much reputation you’ll need to reach each tier within your chosen faction.

Tier two: 3000
Tier three: 11,000
Tier four: 26,000
Tier five: 49,000

Each rank will demand more and more Faction Rank Reputation, so it will be harder to do. Players can use six different quests to get faction standing. PvE quests task you with retrieving items, killing enemies patrolling an area or crafting items. These missions have no time limit or failure state, so you can complete these quests at your leisure. PvE quests grant around 300 reputations each, ranging from the high 200s to the mid 300s. PvP quests are about holding ground, collecting resources, or retrieving items in specific locations. Grabbing any PvP quest will toggle PvP on until you abandon the quest. Unlike PvE quests, if you die at any point, the quest automatically fails. Since the risk is greater, the reward payout is better. PvP quests grant over 400 reputations each, ranging from the low 300s to the high 400s. Complete as many of these quests as you can to quickly rank up your faction. Also, these quests reward you with many amazon new world coins that can be used to buy powerful weapons and armor, so it should be good to complete them.

Three factions are in the game: Syndicate, Marauders, or Covenant. As you progress through the ranks in your faction, no matter which option you pick, you’ll have access to stronger exclusive gear.  This is all you need to know about Faction Reputation Cap in New World.
